Bouts Pay
1-5 $2,500
6-10 $5,000
11-15 $10,000
16-20 $15,000
21-above $20,000
Title Challenger $30,000
Champion $40,000
Just saw this as well. This is terrible, the UFC should be ashamed. Looks like the Bellator era may start to get a little more interesting.

I wonder how they came up with these numbers.
I remember when Dan Hardy was offered five figures to wear a hat in his walkouts but declined as he did not want to cover his signature Mohawk.
Brendan Schaub said he makes twice as much from sponsors as he does from UFC salary. Mitrione said ONE of his sponsors pays his 30k per fight.

At least their counting WEC and Strikeforce fights after Zuffa bought
This is stupid...
Even if those numbers in OP are under estimated by 10 TIMES the pay is very bad.

This is on top of what the UFC is paying them. Also, I believe fighters will now get a % of merchandise sales and that benefits the more popular fighters or at least that was talked about before.
Looks fine to me. Let's see how it works.
The thing about T-shirt sales is that popular fighters, the ones whose shirts fans buy, were already getting a % from their clothing sales with a higher base pay.
put it in perspective: James Krause has 5 fights, 6 with the next one so he's expected to make 5K with reebok but has stated he losses 20K when his sponsors go away because of the deal. so average fighters lose big time.
Well, if you look at avg card payout to be about $200,000 (no real numbers behind that, but any title fight is $70,000, and theres usually about 12 fights on a card) and figure that there are about 50 events a year, that's $10 million right there. Since some figures were reporting $70 million over 6 years, I guess this is pretty much what we should have been expecting, but my god is it awful. Let's not forget that Conor McGregor only has 5 UFC fights. Paige VanZant less. Obviously their Reebok contracts are different because they got "sponsored" but had Reebok not sponsored them, those fighters would only be making $2500 in sponsor money for their fights.

I am pretty sure it also counts PRIDE fights Rick.
Calavaro -Hahaha what!? Where all that $$ supposed to come from ??

Is anyone really surprised? Why do you think it took so long for them to come out with the figures? So much for the shills like McTowelie and Cindy O who said it would be good for the fighters, wait and see. It's a disgrace.

This is like practice squad type pay in the NFL.
Blows.
21+ bouts only gets $20k? HOLY SHIT that's absolutely ridiculous
That's rough. I know of two UFC fighters that made around 10k from sponsors on their debuts.
Only a matter of time until a fighters union is formed.
