I bet that Nike money is looking pretty now Phone Post 3.0

yellow's b@#ch07 - I bet that Nike money is looking pretty now Phone Post 3.0
Nike at least paid on a scale comparible to a professional athlete....even if it was the bottom of the barrel deal it was still a 6 figure deal with incentives

Reebok pays the same amount they would pay a street team

Pathetic Phone Post 3.0

Why can't people wrap their heads around the fact that it is NOT Reebok who is deciding the fighter's pay. They had absolutely zero input in how the fighters would be paid. It is Zuffa who decided the payscale

$70 million spread out over several years.

I think Dana's entire reason for doing this deal was to weaken the fighters' need for managers.  Without managers bringing in endorsement money the manager's role is diminished which means the UFC doesn't have to deal with quality managers in negotiations.

This is shameful, the no of fights scale is irrelevant when you've got a former champ, surely you have to start looking at fan base/how many ppv buys people get etc Phone Post 3.0

Can't believe all he got was $15000 to fight Bisping. Fighter pay defiantly needs to go up. Fucking disgrace. Phone Post 3.0

Oh. Phone Post 3.0

Before reebok newer fighters would complain about how much the established fighters made from sponsorship and they would make nothing.

Now people complain about the established fighters who already make a bunch of money just from fight pay are making too little.

People are always going to bitch.

You guys do realize they can still get high paying sponsorships.

Just not logos on their shorts for the actual fight.

I am sure Anderson is still getting his Burger King money just not from logo on his shorts..

Condom depot probably paid more. Phone Post 3.0

The outside sponsorships aren't as lucrative without being able to wear their logo's during the week leading up to the fight as well as during the fight.

I suspect every fighter that isn't sponsored by Reebok took a very nice hit to their income.

I find it hilarious that outlets feel the need to report on "reebok money".

I barely care about fighter pay, but I understand why others like to talk about it.  I get why a fighters base pay is disclosed via the athletic commision, but disclosing reebok pay is just silly.

lol 15k.....          lolol
