Master Bob-
Hello,
I'm havin an issue with the location. Can you move it to:
Santa Barbara, CA?... Also, Friday doesn't work for me, unless you can make it at around 1pm.?? That way, I can leave work at lunch (fake like I'm sick), and have this whole cert thing done by the time I woulda been done working anyway. While we're on the topic... $100 is a bit more than I wanna spend, so how about changing it to a pay-as-you-go format (maybe $10/hr), so I can leave during all the dumb shit (like "early stoppage definition, and how to avoid it" section) and only spend what I feel is necessary??

sorry to use your page as a doodle pad...
just ignor my idiocy.

$100 is really cheap compared to the referee seminars BJM teaches.

Bob, when is the next class after the 9th? I'm pretty sure I will be out of town that weekend. I've been meaning to get down there for ages and take a class, I swear, it's on my to-do list.

Send the DREAM refs to this IMO.

Is this only to ref in Illinois?

 No nationally

Refs are picked by the state commissions but if you want to get into the reff biz. it would not hurt to have some credentials.I hold the seminars for reffs here in Ohio & in the early days we used to bring Herb Dean in & we did them together. Mark Matheny Full time Ohio reff, part time UFC reff.....

I heard there are 2 different certifications for reffing. Kicks being te lesser used is this true? I would like to get into reffing.

MM:

When are you holding your next referee seminar in Ohio?

Thanks!

Should be in a few months. I'll post it on here. Also I've been reffing a lot in Pa. lately. This Sunday ( Yeah Sunday) I'm reffing Valley Fight League in Altoona, Pa......

KICK certifies to be a KICK sanctioned ref to ref for KICK sanctioned events. As far as I know the credentials do not go outside that organization... meaning in a state with an AC, the certification means squat unless you have reputation or experience or other associations.

But of you are a KICK certified ref you can ref any KICK sanctioned event worldwide as far as I know...

Does BJM teach how to become a licensed referee in Nevada?
