Does anyone have experience with the athletic commision in Abu Dhabi? In the past, Dana has stated the UFC is not involved at all in how the referees are selected. Are we going to see a bunch of referees we have never heard of before, or will we some regulars getting signed up with whatever body they have in Abu Dhabi.
And should someone tell Mazzegati not to bother booking a flight.

I figured a European country would be more apt to have sanctioned referees. Other than the grappling tournaments, I do not know what other combat sports they have over there, and/or if the UFC is obliged to use their officials. It just seemed like another loose thread that will lead to possible issues later.
