Mayweather can't punch? I mean I get taking it to the delusional Conor fans but don't be delusional yourself. Conor landed clean shots early on. Zab did the same to Mayweather only much better. Difference is that people expected for Zab to be able to do that and not McGregor.

Yes, when he actually fights like Floyd Mayweather.  The style he used against Conor would be disasterous against Canelo or GGG, for example.

If ggg or canelo fought that Conner tonight he would have been slept in the first. Floyd had never been a power puncher. Did you even see the fight it looked like a pro trying to walk a child to his first day of school

What made Floyd fight differently is that he wanted to KO Connor, and that meant walking him down rather than waiting and outpointing him.

Roy Jones Jr and James Tony had real KO power, Mayweather isn't known as a power puncher. I would like to see how McGregor would hold up against Canelo or GGG, that would be a closer analogy to your OP.
