Everybody needs to relax about not being able to see the Kid fight. It will definitely be televised one way or another, whether it's on the prelim specials or they show it on the actual broadcast, if you don't want to be spoiled, then don't read the results beforehand!
Years ago there were no prelim specials, and we only used to see what made it to the broadcast. Stop complaining and enjoy the free MMA when it's given to you!
Some people can hit the lottery & will still complain about the taxes.
crowbar - Some people can hit the lottery & will still complain about the taxes.
Reminds me of one of the greatest lines in TUF history, regarding Captain Miserable:
"The guy could win the lottery and still complain he's gotta go pick up the ticket!"
Taxes?!?!? God damnit!
KidOnSpikePrelims
TREND FOR THE CAUSE!!!
An international superstar and MMA legend like Kid DESERVES to be broadcasted LIVE to the masses!!
grachuss - We are not spoiled. We pay for for the damn PPV once a month (not me but I heard that's what people do) and have to sit through endless commercials on free shows. So at least show us the Kid fight.
... uh, ok.
When my buddies and I pay 50 dollars for an event, we would like to see the WHOLE event. Just my .

Yeah and when I pay $3.50 a gallon for gas I'd like it to come with a blowjob and a home cooked meal, but it's just not realistic.

That's not a good comparison...
You may order the prime rib, but the chef is only serving shit sandwiches, fren.
mmasexpert - What a stupid thread.
The point is we HAVE televised prelims now.
Let me guess your the type of guy who never wants to improve anything.
You stick with your shit sandwich and ill order the prime rib.
I'm not going to lose my long sleep if I don't see a fight live, and instead see it two hours later on replay, without knowing the result. That's the kind of guy I am. E.g. not a whiny spoiled baby.
How about only having one UFC every three months?
That was just brutal.
Those were the days.
Kid is likely 2 and done in the UFC but if his fight is exciting they will show it
MartialArtsMixed - When my buddies and I pay 50 dollars for an event, we would like to see the WHOLE event. Just myI'll add two more to that.. I pay the 50 so id like to see the whole show too.

So why are you shelling out $50 each time despite the fact that they always tell you before hand that several fights WON'T be broadcasted?
I would also love to see the whole event. Even if it takes 4-5 hours to broadcast. UFC doesn't understand that we become attached to some of these fighters fighting on the undercard as well. (Mike Brown, Ross Pearson etc)
Well you know what? they show prelims now and THEY SHOULD SHOW THE FUCKING KID FIGHT! STFU AND STFD
If the kid fight is exciting or a quick KO or Sub you will def see it.

I think they do understand, because they forged those relationships. At the same time, it is purely a business decision. Despite the fact that some of those choices leave me scratching my head (Jake Ellenberger vs. Eduardo Rocha on the main card over Kid/), most of them make sense.
Back in the day there was a huge thread on here talking about shelling out an extra $5 to get the whole pay per view, I would still be in favor of that. That being said, the UFC is doing the best they can to show fights we wouldn't have normally seen (last minute deal with ION, free fights on Facebook, etc), so I can't complain too much.. but apparently some others could lol.
