LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Resurrection Fighting Alliance (RFA) is pleased to announce that tickets for RFA 4 - Yvel vs. Pe De Pano, set for Friday, November 2nd, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.com. This will be the RFA’s first event held in Las Vegas and will be sure to follow in the long tradition of prize fighting in the city known as the “Fight Capital of the World”.
RFA 4 will feature 14 professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) bouts, which will emanate from the Texas Station Gambling Hall & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event will feature two former UFC heavyweight stars as Gilbert “The Hurricane” Yvel faces Marcio “Pe De Pano” Cruz. They will both be looking to resurrect their careers in the light-heavyweight division.
The co-main event of the evening will feature two former UFC lightweight stars looking to get back to their winning ways, as hometown favorite Tyson Griffin meets TUF 8 champion Efrain Escudero. The rest of the star-studded fight card consists of what could easily be considered the most impressive collection of blue chip prospects ever assembled on the same card.
RFA 4 will feature five UFC veterans (Yvel, Cruz, Griffin, Escudero, and Fredson Paixão), three TUF competitors (Escudero, Dakota Cochrane, and James Krause), and two younger brothers of current UFC stars (Chidi Njokuani and Sergio Pettis).
The fight card will also include four Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts (Cruz, Paixão, Alessandro Ferreira, and Chris Holdsworth) and six NCAA Division I wrestlers (Bubba Jenkins, Lance Palmer, Tyler Shinn, Steve Mocco, Gregor Gillespie, and Tyler Perry). The BJJ players account for a combined six black belt world titles and one ADCC world title, while the wrestlers have accumulated ten All-American honors, four national titles, and one U.S. Olympic team competitor.
