 I got a chance to stop by Ricardo Almeida's BJJ academy, It was a packed gym, Frankie Edgar, Eddie Alvarez, Dante Rivera, and a bunch of other tough fighters. I think he's going to do great in his fight with Hughes by how he looked. It's taking forever to upload on youtube, so I couldn't embed it yet, but here is a link, I'll embed it asap.

Almeida gets some Gracie/Serra revenge and SUBS Hughes

He's going to outbox the shit outta Hughes, Hughes will shot, Big Dog will get back control and punch him up, maybe get sub.

It's going to be a mismatch on the feet.

I'll be looking forward to seeing Ricardo - live and in person. 



And just think - it will be in Almeida County!

 His stand up looked real crisp,,, and training with younger faster guys like Edgar and Alvarez def helped his hand speed.... I think  he will really surprise Hughes on their  feet..

Wes_Mantooth - Royce was going to choke out Hughes.
Serra was going to KO or choke out Hughes.
Renzo was going to KO or choke out Hughes.

Two differences:

1. Ricardo is at a different place than Royce, Serra, and Renzo were when they fought Hughes; and

2. Hughes is at a different place then he was when he fought Royce, Serra, and Renzo (well probably not Renzo, but the Hughes that fought Renzo WILL NOT survive against Almeida).

Hope that makes sense for you. If not, I suspect it will about sixty seconds after the fight.

CRE - Playing pattycake in sparring is going to get him knocked out against Hughes, I didn't see him banging the way you need to prepare for Kru Hughes.



Muay Thai class will be in session again, the Gracie killer will dine on Almeida's BJJ filled soul.
I hope you don't think that I would have put any real footage of what he was doing do you.. come on. Trust me Almeida is 100% ready for Hughes
