Hi guys,

I am wondering where one can find a complete list of the black belts awarded by Rickson and Royce?

For Rickson I know Henry Akins is a black belt under him and also Rani Yahya. Not sure about Royce.

Rani is not a rickson black belt at all. He joined his association but he was a black belt already.

Marcelo Behring is widely regarded as Rickson's best black belt. The tai-otoshi to armbar by Marcelo at the 2 minute mark is sick.

Just about to post that, I've heard Royce generally won't give a blackbelt unless you train with him personally for a long time. Which is the way it should be imo Phone Post 3.0

I don't know about that, it only took me 17 years. :) The black belt testing is done in conjunction with the Valente Brothers BB testing, once a year in Miami. The failure rate is darn near 50%...

I have looked at some of his videos on you tube, the guy moves like a gymnast, that being said I wonder if his game is compatible with a non athletic 50 year old.
