That was an official match. They had a private one as well.
Its amazing how everyone has knowledge about these “private matches” but can never give any details, evidence or proof, just gossip. I post actual video clips, look up records and dates, show actual articles quoted. Facts, not fiction.

I went to two of his seminars and he tapped a good 60-70 people at the end of each of those.
If he is counting those, his record has to be over a couple 1000 at least then.

u have no source no video no quotes but i did once see someone once post jj once tapped Rickson but wasnt reliable source and anything can happen in practice
Do you understand the meaning of “private”? By definition we wouldnt be discussing it if this was an actual “private match”.
Kind of like Rickson not having anything to prove something remotely close to his claimed easily double 450 wins?

I’d agree that Rickson was dragging his ass leading up to that potential fight, but I don’t think he hid behind his kid’s death so as to avoid Sak. Dude’s family imploded. He left them and moved to Brazil. Divorced his wife. Strained relationship with his youngest.
Rickson caved in on a multitude of levels, and I don’t mean that as criticism considering the circumstances.

I know a guy who’s son rolled with Rickson and his dad took a video because he was so honored. He chased the guy outside and took the video and threatened him for stealing his moves. I’m pretty sure this is considered a win because the other guy declined to fight.
Rickson also walks in the middle of the road when he goes to the North Shore on Kauai. Everyone driving behind him while he did the Gracie strut is a win for him as well
