At the risk of sounding like a white knight, I would like to remind people that Ronda had a father that she loved- who became paralyzed and then committed suicide when she was 8 years old.
That type of stuff will make you filled with resentment and anger for the rest of your life.
I'm not even a big fan of hers (I love her armbar transitions), but as a father of three young kids, my goal in life these days is to live long enough and to be a good enough dad to them that I don't scar them for life by dying too young.
Listen to interviews with "troubled" people, ie. drug addicts, porn stars, etc- so many of them have had troubled youths where their dad left or died early.

Personality is secondary for me. Unless I know them in person or at least on a forum or something I don't give a shit. I don't fork out thousands of dollars a year to hear about their humanity. I pay to see them compete in hand to hand combat. It's always nice to have a fighter whom I can emotionally invest in but it definitely is secondary for me.

I do agree that people should take responsibility for their actions, especially as adults.
However, I have also never faced something as traumatic as a parent leaving me or killing themselves. I'm guessing that would be so traumatic that it would greatly alter the way you view everything in your life.
Hell, I was in a terrible marriage for about 5+ years, and during that time, I was changed from a happy go lucky nice guy, to a bitter person filled with resentment and anger.
Considering she increasingly lives under a microscope it's little wonder her worst moments get repeated ad nauseam.
Ronda's main problems are that she's a tad paranoid, and ultra-competitive to a fault and this overwhelms her at times.
She's not the Hot New Thing in WMMA anymore (that would be Invicta) but she's done far more good for the sport than bad so whatever (and I mean the entire sport, not just for the women).
she said a couple of years ago on the mma hour that she saw that nobody was really paying attentiom to wmma because the girls were too nice to each other. she said she was gonna make people pay attention even if they hated her. seems to me like she called her fuckimg shot pretty perfectly. 
People act like Ronda kills puppies and kidnaps children. They are judging her from 3 episodes on a tv show that only showed her for a total of maybe 15 mins.
People are fickle, I'm sure they will change their minds in a few months.

I do not know whether your father killing himself would fall into the same category, but seems pretty likely. Also, her mom is weird as fuck and probably didnt do the best job of teaching ronda to be a normal person.
Of course its still up to her to cope with that in the right ways and i personally find her unbearable, but i think she probably does have a "legit mental disorder."

Like we all know, Matt Hughes supposedly once said, the fight game is 90% mental, and when you reach the level of success Rousey is experiencing, in that compacted a time frame, surrounded by yes men, it's the perfect storm that creates the fighter who actually begins to believe their own hype. Probably having been told everyday by agents that she is poised for massive crossover success, being told by the UFC that she is the face of women,s MMA, and never challenged by todays meek MMA press, Rousey's following the Baszler Doctrine: I Am My Hype and My Hype Is Who I Am, and as the bible also says, Pride comes before a fall.
