Brad Peterson is a stud~~~>but that is still an impressive win.

Glad to see Alten won. (wasn't he an instructor at Attitude First awhile back??!)

...I'll be back from Thailand in July~~~>I'd love to challenge Joe Vigil for his newly awarded RITC WW belt.

congrats to Joe...great win~~~>I'd just love the belt

(it would be nice to fight in front of my home fans again)

Hey JPet, How have your been? Long time no contact. I like to come down there and cover one of your fights. Please email me and we could work something out. Thanks for your time.

Brad didn't win by KO...until the illegal sucker punch on the ground. Ref is horrible and should be banished.

Alten never has trained with me (Attitude First) and he landed the loudest knee to the groin I have ever heard.

Otherwise a good night of fights!

Most fights were not very good, especially at the new $30 price tag.

Some of the amateurs looked like they had barely any training before deciding to step into the ring.

Ref was really bad. Either missing taps or not knowing what he was supposed to do.

Peterson was classless. Havent seen anything that bad in a while. Maybe someone who was closer can give a better recap.

It looked like Sal took a good shot that knocked him down then he was on the ground regathering himself. Peterson was standing over him talking crazy shit. The ref stood in between him like the fight was over. Peterson walked back to his corner than came running back out for the sucker punch with the ref in between them. Looked like sal couldnt see it coming.

Anyone closer give a better fight analysis? Was Sal out from the punch and the fight should have been stopped or was he just on the ground clearing cob webs like many fighters do?

You pretty much got it right. Sal took a good shot but was not out. He had his legs up ready to play guard. He was dazed but ready to go. Peterson went on his rage and walked away. Sal thought he saw the ref waive it off so he was turned away and was going to get up.. then he got hit with the sucker punch which was an illegal closed fist.

I complained to the boxing commission but I don't think they care about the ref or what the fighters do. They talk tough back stage but I have never heard of them taking action.

Is his nose broken or any other serious damage from the punch?

Damn...

How were the Muay Thai fights?

the muay thai fights were awesome...my girl beth looked great...

sounds like there was some good fights. TTT for Elbe coming back and fighting for the belt.

Well, in the Peterson fight this is what I saw. Sal got knocked down, Brad came in to finish the fight. The ref stood in between them, but he never called the fight. Didnt wave his hands or anything. I really dont know what the ref was doing. Brad walked away thinking the ref was stopping the fight, but the ref started to walk away also and never stopped it. Brad realized the fight was still on so ran back and hit Sal again. The ref then stopped the fight.

Now I dont know if the last punch from Brad was closed or not, I didnt see. But it seems like alot of people are mad at Brad for continuing the fight, but the ref didnt call it at first. I can see the mix up and confusion, but I cant see blaming the fighters for that. Anyways, just my point of view.

Anyone want me to start reffing again?

Yes, anyone other than that guy should ref.

I think people are upset not only about the closed fist punch(possible sucker punch- ref was blocking sals view) but the standing in the middle of the ring with his arms out to his sides talking shit.

Ya, i can understand that also. Im not defending him, just giving another point of view.
