 Duran is awesome. There will never be another boxer like him. He went into to kill you and didn't care. He wanted your blood. Now you got guys who are afraid to commit, and just dance around you either throwing quick little flashy combos and then back out or just dance and jab.

 Duran was awesome. Him and a prime Tyson, Ward, and Gatti where my favorites. Gatti obviously wasn't the greatest boxer ever, but you had to love the guy. The dude would not quit.

Fucker ;) He actually never said "no mas." Thats a myth. He said something more like "Fuck this, I'm not fighting this clown" thinking he'd get an immediate rubber match, which of course Leonard eschewed until years later when both had paled. Still not honorable, but not as dishonorable and cowardly as the press and Leonard camp painted.
