OP is correct. BR was disappointing and mediocre. The only redeeming features were Rami Malek's performance and the concert recreations.
I lasted about 20 minutes of Rocket Man. When it seemed to play out like a musical rather then a pseudo doc I tuned out. At least BR seemed like a history of the band and had 'some' continuity
