Rockhold: All signs point to Weidman

<p>It isn't decided who Luke Rockhold will first defend his title against, but according to the new champion, he believes it will be a rematch with Chris Weidman:</p>
"All signs point to Weidman [for my first title defense]," Rockhold told Ariel Helwani on Monday's edition of The MMA Hour.
To Rockhold, Weidman's insistence on a mulligan is questionable given the nature of their first encounter.
"I don’t think it’s a great move. I don’t know what he [Weidman] sees," Rockhold said. "This is not god’s will. This is not a blessing in disguise. It’s the simple fact that I’m better than him. I’ll beat him again and I’m going to put an exclamation mark on it next time.
"I don’t know where his head’s at. He’s very religious and he seems to think everything happens for a reason. I guess it’s made him a better man, but, you know, he’s going to come into that cage one more time with me, and I’m going to have to beat him down again."
Do not want. There was a clear cut winner. I don't want to see any immediate rematches unless the fight was close or there were existential circumstances (different country, sea level, ect.). TJ deserves a rematch, but Weidman and Aldo do not. They got owned.

He is behind weidman and weidman is holding the belt. The photo is a promo pic from the lead up to the first fight. Since no second fight has been officially announced, there is no promo material for it
So weidman gets dominated and gets a rematch, Aldo gets caught after only 13 seconds and 10 years undefeated and doesn't deserve a rematch... Ok, makes total sense thanks Dana

This rematch feels a lot like the Rousey/Holm rematch. Wiedman was smashed in the first fight (wheel kick aside). If he loses again, which is highly likely, what's next for him?
Jacare should get it. Jacare-Romero was a fight to determine the next title challenger, it was pretty much a draw and Romero popped for PEDs, so by default it goes to Jacare.
What if Chris Weidman gets a broken leg this time?!? I heard 'Dave Shorto' has been teaching the Luke Cuckhold a move called the 'knee destruction' I believe that is Jeetkunedoion for checking a kick.
The Sultan - Last time rockhold was super fatigued during the fight because of the antibiotics. If he makes it to the fight fresh, that could be worse for Weidman.
But true to form Weidman cited issues going into that fight too.. After we heard about Rockholds ailments.
