Rodrigo and Saulo Riberio close out the Absolute division. Rodrigo and Saulo finish both their sides of the bracket and meet in the finals. Saulo and Rodrigo walk out onto the mat for the finals and Saulo raises Rodrigos hand to give him the gold medal because they both represent Gracie Humatia. Rodrigo has his best Worlds competition, finishing with 2 golds and making him the MAN.

I have mixed feelings about closing out brackets. But it is nice to see Saulo 'passing the torch' so to speak.

Congrats Rod! Must give him a LOT of credit.... this trip to Brazil he took care of 8 guys at the apartment and training at Humaita ,drove us around(an experience i'll never forget!), made sure we were safe and happy! All that and compete at the highest level and win!!
