After the loss, many wondered what would be next for Stipe Miocic. After all, he is a firefighter-paramedic and turns 39 this summer. For Rogan, he thinks there is a chance that Miocic calls it a career.

“It could be the end of a long and storied career,” UFC color commentator Joe Rogan said of Stipe Miocic during the UFC 260 post-fight show (h/t MMAMania). “It’s entirely up to him. I’m sure he’s gonna take some time and rest and think things through.

“But what a career the man has had. Very underappreciated, beaten legends,” Rogan continued about Stipe Miocic. “But I think he ran into an unstoppable force tonight. When you have a guy like Francis who is a one-in-a-million physical specimen, maybe one in eighty million, right?”

Lol, the hype is unreal

Rogan is such a drama queen. Granted he has a point here with Stipe due to age and such…but geez, guy was just the greatest HW champ in the UFC but loses so he is finished? Never change Joe!

Just like that, the talking heads calling for retirement in a roundabout way. GOAT HW of all time, one loss…retirement! lol

Rogan is pathetic!

It should definitely be a consideration.  39, obviously has other life interests, has revenge KO’d all but on guy he’s lost to (the other one, Ngannou, he dominated for five rounds), and doesn’t really have much to prove from a legacy standpoint.

Rogan is right. Stipe is done. Even in his victories against Cormier you could see the slow decline taking shape

Fuck rogan.

Thing is he can clearly beat Ngannou, just can't make any mistakes. Ngannou is very beatable but everyone will ignore the obvious because he is champ now. Always baffles me how things are ignored when someone wins or is champ.

I love stipe he’s been a great champion & fighter. This last fight was not good but he seemed off. That takedown attempt looked weak compared to Ngannou. Francis is a freak & puts guys out fast !

Stipe saying his game plan was Him trying to weather the storm or try to wear a guy out make him tired ? The Ngannou with that kinda power is a foolish game plan

39 and he’s been in some wars. Guys a true warrior & great. He has a young family might be time to retire. He could have another couple fights in him.
