Blue please.
Cliff notes:
Bryan's a good friend.
Joe's mastered tough love.
Schaub doesn't like how it feels but in reality isn't having any of it.
Schaub stares Joe down and says, "100% imma fight again."
Blue?
VTFU brother
RicoCutler - The video is 2 hours long... When does Joe say that?
Begins about four or five minutes in
RicoCutler - Wow Joe is really going over board here. There are plenty of guys in the UFC that dont have fluid striking. He's speaking as a friend not as a spectator like the rest of us.
Also there are plenty of guys in each division that will never be the champ so I dont really understand where he is coming from here.
Some people don't think it be like it is. But it do.
It'd be more respectful of you if you had set the title as "Joe Rogan speaks to Brendan Schaub regarding future" or something along those lines instead of fishing for views, OP.
T-Ham - Some people don't think it be like it is. But it do.Foreal doe.
I'm glad somebody is telling Brendan the truth. Truth is he'll never be on an elite level, he's never winning the belt. Unless he needs the paycheck, why continue?
Brendan should fight frank mir

Same can be said about most of the UFC fighters though. Pettis, Aldo, Weidman, Jones are not going anywhere but that does not mean the fighters in those divisions just just say screw it and retire.
Sub
Joe Rogan has jumped up really high in my estimation.

Rogan admittedly was also speaking as an analyst, and let's be honest, he may have watched well over a thousand fights, but his analytical skills aren't very good. He doesn't have anywhere near the analytical skill of, say, a respected coach; he often can't even be trusted to accurately relay what's happening in a fight. With that in mind, I think it'd be hard for most fighters to respect Rogan's opinion on their competitive future. He essentially just told Schaub to retire because he's not as good as guys like Cruz, Velasquez and Hendricks, which is an odd thing to say, especially in such a harsh tone.
That was tough to watch jesus. I kind of wanted joe to pipe down a little so we could hear some counterpoints from schaub. Anyways it may have been his idea but they needed to do that off air lol.
Joe needs to get off his fucking high horse.
Pretty unwarranted in my opinion. There are lots of guys in the UFC that will never beat the elite fighters (that's why they're elite) that doesn't mean that the lower level guys can't give us exciting and compelling fights. Not even a fan of Schaub but he's a decent enough fighter that has a few more good wins in him. Joe thinks way too highly of his own opinion and a part of me thinks he went off like this just to feed his own ego about how much of an intelligent and thoughtful guy he is.

Come back after you watch Schaubs first 5 or 6 fights then watch his last 3 look at his stand up and watch Weidman,Pettis,Jones first 5 fights and watch their last 3. Peace
So the point is that Schaub needs to retire because he's not as good as guys like Weidman, Pettis and Jones, three of the greatest fighters the sport's ever seen? If that's the case, then the vast majority of active fighters need to retire.
