Takes away the only chance for mid level guys to make decent training money and lying about shaub sponsors .

Joes the kind of guy that has fans because he kind of tells is like it is. You can't really come down on someone like him to much because if you make him worry about what he says then you take away the reason people like him so much.

Karnak - Joe's a smart guy, but it took a calmer Schaub being sat right in front of him, to finally explain another point of view on all of this sponsorship beef; the idea being that one or two mid level fighters smart enough to maximise the current sponsorship system, probably doesn't correlate with the true earning power/hustle of the everybody else on the UFC's roster.Not sure how pumped Schaub is. Thought he was eating donuts at the fight companion and pizza and shit with Callen. (Most recent fighter and the kid) Thought I've heard Callen remarking Schaub was looking big, big brown slim down not going so well. (This could all be sarcasm I guess, listening to audio at work)
Like everything, progress towards the mainstream is always met with hostility, so it's hardly surprising to see somebody like Rogan being the vocal defender for the fighters. He enjoys going up against the new order/douchebags in suits, and especially when they now appear to be exploiting the creativity and skill of people he often refers to as friends.
It was insinuated on the podcast, Joe wanted some gasoline poured on the short term cons of this Reebok deal lol, but in the end Schaub wasn't interested in a pissing contest with somebody he still want's to work for.
As someone pointed out, this is merely a clash of business interests for Joe, and I still haven't heard him say anything remotely controversial.
