Someone else made a thread asking simply if you had. Well of course most people had in fact rolled with UFC/Pride caliber fighters.
My question is who? Did they just manhandle you or did you hold your own?
It's only training, utterly does not compare to competition....
So yeah, no comment from me on this one...
I know that someone here said they trained with Team Bison, which I know has had a few guys in UFC competition.
So, there has to be plenty more.
In an attempt to bring this back to the original question...
Depends on the Pro and sometimes it also depends on what the pro is trying to get out of roll. If they know they are way better than you, sometimes they will put themselves in bad situations and give you some success so that they can get something from it. Pro in mma is a pretty broad term. I've been able to do pretty well with low level pros but when I've rolled with some higher level guys I got tooled like I'd never been on a mat before.
I won't name names but I was beat the hell up on to show me the true difference between grappling comps and mma. Helped me a lot.

I know the feeling... I was rolling around with Nog a while back. Well long story short things got pretty heated and I locked in a triangle. He was way to embarrased to tap so he went to sleep...
The one I have rolled with is actually my instructor. Combine that with me being a whitebelt, then yes, I guess you could say I have my ass handed to me regularly. But in this type of situation, of course, it aint about holding your own.
