Ronda: I'll retire when I'm the best ever

Ilikebjj - She should start challenging both men and women at bantamweight. That should make her the best ever.
Phone Post 3.0

She's already the best female fighter ever, with no close 2nd.

Cyborg is fighting cans in a weak division, hulked out like Overeem, and isn't putting on anything like RR's performances in the much much stronger 135lb division.

NewOld, accurate or not, your derogatory description of Tweet is pure fighter bashing.

It's not like Cyborg has never faced a top contender, she pulled out of the fights against Gomes last summer as part of her carefully considered plan to make 135, but Cyborg did fight Gina Cararo only 5-6 years ago. Phone Post 3.0

at this point it has to be accepted that Ronda's just not very bright

You mean, natural human Cyborg at 135lbs? Or, monster Cyborg fighting females with a 35lb muscle mass disadvantage and female hormone levels?

Natural human cyborg is top-5 at best at 135lbs. Tate would beat her. Davis would beat her. Cat would beat her. McMann would beat her. Kaufman... Maybe.

Her last opponent was scheduled to be Gomes... The woman that RR first-round trounced in her debut MMA match. Took her something like 20 seconds? Only time Cyborg has finished anyone that fast, was Yamanaka, half her size and female. Overturned for steroids.

There's no comparison between caliber of opponent, or average fight time. Not anywhere close in their category. Last fight for Cyborg was Coenen and it almost went the distance.

It's Overeem all over again. You'll see, if Cyborg ever actually takes the chance.

SkantronZero - Her level of compeititon is less than Royse Gracie beating people at UFC 1. She isn't even a top 100 fighter of all time. Phone Post 3.0
Nah. She is more like Tito, until he ran into some guy named Chuck.

Sooner or later she will meet her Chuck. Phone Post 3.0

I wonder if she actually thinks this or is just using the topic as a way to be provocative and get attention. Probably the latter, because honestly, could any 135lb woman ever really think they could even last past a few seconds with someone like Cain, Rumble, or even Frankie Edgar? Phone Post 3.0

Marloes struggled at 135 - at 145 I'd pick her over any of Ronda's opponents. IMO if they dropped the 135 division in favour of 145 the top 3 would be:

  1. Ronda
  2. Cyborg
  3. Marloes

Coenen is the only credible opponent Cyborg has ever had (no offense to fans of Gina or the tiny 125lb Japanese woman mauled by a roid fueled Cyborg). Tate beat Coenen at 145. Phone Post 3.0

No, she did not. After losing to Cyborg Marloes dropped to 135 and in her first fight at 135 won the Strikeforce title (submitting Sarah Kaufman). She then defended against Caramouche before losing to Tate (who then lost to Ronda - another fighter who dropped from 145 and won the Strikeforce title in her first fight at 135).

Marloes is now back at 145 where she belongs. Marloes at 145 would be a tougher opponent than anyone Ronda has faced so far IMO.

Ronda V Dillashaw..
Does anyone besides Ronda, Rondas mum, Rondas 3 minions & Eyebrows honestly think she wouldn't get raped/murdered in that fight?? Phone Post 3.0

Doesn't address a single thing I said...
It could be catch weight, Coenen at 145lbs and RR at 135lbs, and RR would finish the fight in the 1st.

Cyborg, with all her beef advantages, has struggled by comparison, against much weaker competition. Ronda, is crushing much better competition, in much more dominant fashion.

This is why the Cyborg cheer leaders are pretending to believe she just hasn't had time to drop a few pounds of her massive veiny hulking testosterone dripping bulk.

She's naturally Arnold Schwarzenegger, so, it's going to take her another decade to wither away those couple of pounds of artificial man meat.

Meanwhile, it takes all day every day hard work and calculated diet even for male athletes just to sustain that type of physique...

Tito's doctor's note is a joke my friend. Cyborg is hiding, just like Overeem was hiding. Cyborg will be exposed, just like Overeem was exposed. Muscles aren't skills.

1Jones2rulethemall - Although her professional career is less than four years in, some would argue that Ronda Rousey is already in consideration for the best woman's fight ever
-----

Another silly intro statement. Seriously if you guys are trying to act like journalists, at least take a class on writing. Just one.

How is Ronda in consideration to be the best, when she doesn't have any competition to speak of.

Her competition is fine - she's just that good. I think there is tougher competition for her at 145 - i.e. Cyborg and Marloes - but they're bigger than Ronda.

Rhythmprince - I wonder if she actually thinks this or is just using the topic as a way to be provocative and get attention. Did you read the part where she said she didn't care if others agreed with her?.. She said she's going to retire once SHE feels she's the best ever.
When she makes up her mind that her accomplishments surpass any male fighter ever, actually deserved or not, she's done.
Imo that makes it even worse then her actually believing she will someday become the best fighter ever, period. Phone Post 3.0
