she wasnt aggressively going for take downs. to be honest i think she got rocked early on and it took her out of the fight.

Some need to let that sink in. She has bum knees. She just cannot shoot for a double or single. Wont happen.
She has to CLINCH THEN THROW to get her take downs. HUGE difference between the two. Holly has shown the world how to nullify what she does in the clinch and avoiding the take down.
Rhonda will never have it as easy as she has in the past. Her days of just clinching and throwing to an armbar are over. Plain and simple.

The only top 10 fighter Holly ever beat is Ronda, seems like an anomaly to me. Not to mention she had a judge say she lost to a 500 fighter just a few months earlier.
If you look at the first fight in its entirety it looks lopsided, but imo Ronda was out on her feet in the first exchange in that fight similar to Serra/GSP 1, the difference is she wasn't willing to quit and chose to swing and chase while in a zombie state
I don't think the public will give Ronda any credit for beating Meisha for the belt. The main story line of the fight would be that she's fighting someone she's already beat twice to avoid Holly. And since Meisha beat Holly why can't Ronda?

Still difficult to avoid a clinch for 25 minutes. Walk her down like Winky Wright, take little love taps and concede that if it goes the distance you will lose on points. Odds are she will get at least 8-10 clinch opportunities and Holly has to work her way out of all of them.
Seems unlikely, but it depends on how Ronda chooses to fight. I don't think she will feel pressure to be aggressive and finish the fight early to keep people happy, the expectations are much lower so she can fight smart without feel like she is disappointing those who expect her to get a finish in under a minute like she has in 75 percent of her wins in her career. She is a victim of her own success
