Rope Skipping or Running?

What's your tak on this? Which do you feel is better for over all conditioning, cardio, stamina, and endurance?

I think you are missing the point. One is not better than the other. If you have a nice safe place to run, then run. If its raining or below freezing, is running better than rope jumping? Do ya get the argument?
Why not do both. In Crossfit, we run, cycle and row. Our jump rope is generally double unders. Use all the tools you have.

Both

Cool! Thanks for the tips!

mongrel knows his stuff!

I find running is good for running. Skipping rope helps my conditioning for grappling much more.

I say dont put all your eggs in one basket.

both

seriously.

Both. Personally i find running a bit easier, so i do it when i don't want to kill myself training. But between the 2, i always found skipping to have a greater cross over.
