Actually no, she didn't. She's said all along that she wants to have 5 or 6 pro fights before she faces Cyborg, of which she already has 4. And considering how Scott Coker's head was gyrating in an up & down, "I concur" type fashion, I think fights with Kaufman and Tate are foregone conclusions that will cover nicely the other 2 fights in Rousey's timeline prior to the showdown with Cyborg.
Her getting a title shot...or two could piss a few people off. Could piss off Cyborg and Tate. However, I am a firm believer that if you can beat the champ then the champ shouldn't have the title anyway.
Tate should be pissed. Rousey wants to fight Cyborg and fights 145, so she could just stay at 145. Instead, she's gonna come down to take the 135 belt just because she can before any fight with Cyborg.
I've gotten rubbed the wrong way by her attitude sometimes but I'm a fan of hers. Hell, I was for her Judo alone, but she's kind of grown on me the same way Brock Lesnar did for me. She's a natural athlete, intense as hell, her armbars are amazing, and she's fucking game. She is a very good representative of female MMA, technically and athletically. That and the fact that I train Hayastan and I know Gokor's gym...for her to train consistently with that crazy bunch is...uh...scary. Can't get nitpicky because she's just being herself, I suppose.
