Ultimate Fighter (TUF) Season 10 winner Roy Nelson embraces his success -- as well as his physique after knocking out Brendan Schaub at the TUF 10 Finale on Dec. 7 in Las Vegas. "Big Country" breezed through the competition but came under fire for his dreaded pot-belly crucifix that felled Kimbo Slice on Episode 3 of the Spike TV reality show. Now that Nelson has forced his way into the UFC spotlight, does Joe Silva feed him to the lions? Or will he get a chance to grow into a viable contender like winners of season's past? Thoughts?
I'd like to see him fight Frank Mir. Market it as fat loser againgst pretty-boy-who-got-all-the-breaks-in-lfe for the MTV genereation types and you'll have a PPV bonanza. BTW, my money's on Big Country.
Heartbroken Lee But seriously, probably Rothwell or someone at that level. They won't baby him, but they won't put him in marquee fights either.
I can see them doing the Rothwell rematch eventually, or Struve, or Buentello. On the other hand, I just sense Nelson vs. Gonzaga happening sooner than we think.

I don't like the fake self-deprication, or the inflated ego, but you can not doubt the guy's skill. He seems like a good dude regardless, and definitely someone the average Joe can root for.
