This was just announced for UFC on Versus 6. Who do you guys have?
Tough to say. AJ is deadly on the feet (and gigantic for the weight) but Brenneman might have the right combination of wrestling and ground game to win. AJ's ground game is weak, but he is tough to take down.
60/40 for AJ, IMO.
AJ by being twice his size
Ya I agree with you there. Rumble is too good of a striker and like you said hugeee for the class. Two completely different styles.
His weight cuts still blow my mind. Look at how huge he looks here: http://youtu.be/qw95KNVHiX8. Why doesn't he just fight a class up?
I'm not a fan of Brenneman per se, but after the bullshit Johnson pulled in the Hardy fight, I want nothing more then to see him get wrestlefucked to death.
Ya how he fought the Hardy fight was pretty weak. Tangent: I'd love to see Hardy with a bounce-back KO over Lytle.
AJ beat hardy in all assets of mma icluding striking
he fought smart
give him credit
AJ...possibly by ko if he doesn't come in too injured
@Daverr: Ya a win is a win. It just wasn't the thriller I was hoping for, and I'm a Hardy fan so I guess I'm a little bitter haha.
What are the odds of AJ getting injured and this fight not even happening.
Fed to the wolves. Rumble by nasty ko

Qft
AJ takes it.
The Spaniard's edge in the wrestling department is nowhere near as big as AJ's edge in the striking department. I don't think Brennaman can finish Johnson and if you give AJ 15 minutes, he's eventually going to hurt you.
Good fight, both have wrestling but AJ better striker..
I'm going with Spaniard due to my dislike of Crumble..
Brenneman could potentially finish AJ if he gets him to the ground. AJ doesn't have much of a guard and Brenneman's top game looked good.
Spaniard by sub. AJ wont be able to stop the take downs, and doesnt have the abilty to fight off his back to put Charlie in any danger on the ground.
Charlie takes this. Much to my satisfaction. Who knows, I might even like Rumble if he fought at 185, but I just cant get past his love of fighting smaller guys to be a fan.
I hope Brenneman takes it.
I didn't think his wrestling looked that great in the last fight. It was effective but rather basic with some glaring holes.
edokaz818 - how is AJ deadly on the feet?
its like saying Kos is deadly on the feet.
he knocks out a Japanese can he outweighs by 50 pounds and is deemed as a monster.
Is this supposed to be a joke?
Johnson has four brutal KO wins since joining the UFC (Reiner, Speer, Burns, Yoshida), and we're not talking some namby-pamby flash KOs either. Every one of those guys was out cold when AJ finished with them. Johnson may not be a technical wizard, but the dude CLEARLY has nasty KO power.
