Russian fighter of mixed style (MMA) Ivan Shtyrkov signed a contract for four fights with the Japanese organization Rizin. This was reported to TASS by Russian manager Sayat Abdrakhmanov.
Earlier Shtyrkov terminated the contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) after a positive doping test.
"Negotiations were very fast, a contract was signed for four fights with the possibility of acting in other organizations. The main goal is to win the belt of the Japanese organization," said Abdrakhmanov.
Shtyrkov's debut fight will be held on July 28 in Tokyo, the Korean fighter Hun Kim will be a contender, with ten wins and 12 losses in his assets.

The first time I ever saw him fight years ago I knew he would end up in Rizin or KSW.
I also knew when he signed with UFC that it was not going to be long before he got caught. Don't know why his team thought they could mask everything.
Rizin should do Shtyrokov vs Mo II on NYE, give the world what it wants.
BKFC seems a better choice for roided-up guys lately, it gets more eyeballs.
Yeah BKFC has got some attention because of Paulie and Lobov but I heard the last Rizin show sold like 16,000 tickets and they did not even have big stars on the card. Coker said they might be doing a co-promoted show with Rizin for the Fedor card on July 29th, it might not just be Rizin using Bellator fighters but a joint show.
I'd love to see that, hell I'd love to see JMMA get big again.
Speaking of big, do you think ACA can make MMA bigger in Russia and the region or are they the wrong guys to create something bigger?

I don;t know. ACB did shows in Europe in US, they really emerged internationally but with this new ACA modification I never really heard of them over the last year so.

Yeah I don't have time to watch them but I'm watching their 100 show in October for sure.
