This street fight in Russia begins in familiar fashion as a heated verbal altercation between two youths suddenly turns physical.
Shirtless roughly shoves his rival and then goes on the attack with a front kick to the midsection, followed by another.
There’s a school of thought that kicks above the waist shouldn’t be used in a street fight, and the reason for that is demonstrated here, with the second kick from Shirtless being caught by his opponent, who uses that to dump him to the sidewalk.
It’s clear that Shirtless has some kind of a martial arts background though as he reacts quickly, grabbing a hold of one of Blue-Shirt’s legs with his hands, while also trapping the limb between his legs, then uses that to help scramble back to his feet.
Shirtless immediately goes for a takedown of his own, but it’s sloppily executed, and though he manages to bundle his rival to the ground, his own momentum results in him rolling over the top rather than securing top control.
Blue-Shirt doesn’t react quickly enough to this brief window of opportunity however, and so Shirtless is able to re-engage and works for a guillotine choke as his rival gets to his knees.
Shirtless is then able to secure position from side control, but when he looks to land ground and pound strikes it gives blue-shirt the room he needs to work his way back to his feet.
Still at close range, Blue-Shirt tries to land strikes, but Shirtless has other ideas and instead executes a high double-leg takedown, and that results in his rivals head landing with a thump on the edge of a nearby step, taking the wind completely out of his sails.
To his credit, Shirtless opts not to follow up with any further unnecessary blows, and thankfully after taking some time to regain his bearings, Blue-Shirt gets back to his feet.
That abrupt ending could easily have gone much worse and resulted in a serious head injury though, which is why fighting out on the street is extremely dangerous and should be avoided if at all possible.
