I'd say Russow is a better fighter than Nelson at this point. Madsen, Duffee, and Einemo are no jokes.
Not that big of a step down for Werdum. Nelson is kind of overrated here and not really much better than Russow.
I'd rather see Werdum fight a top 10 guy but they're mostly busy. JDS/Overeem, Mir/Cain, Cormier/Barnett, etc. I guess they could have done Werdum/Pezao II in the UFC but then people would have just bitched about rematches.
