He's +400 right now on Bodog. I like Ross Pearson, but I've also seen Ryan Couture fight and I think he has a good shot at winning.
Hoping Ross will win two in a row for the first time in nearly 5 years.
BadMon -
toooooo green. he's only had 7 fights. and half of them by controversial split decision. Nick Ring style. so really he could easily be batting .500 against subpar competition.
His dad done pissed off ZUFFA. You have to know that will affect the scorecards somewhat.
The commission isn't exactly enthralled with Dana White, so if anything, the scorecards might favour Couture - The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
He finished Conor Huen, who is a pretty tough dude, and I thought he definitively beat KJ.
Don't get me wrong, do I think Ross will win - probably. But I think this fight is a lot closer than people give it credit for.
And don't forget, Ross is .500 in his last 6 fights and was finished in 2 of his last 3 losses.
I'll take Pearson in this fight. Of course, anything can happen, but I think the odds are pretty spot on. IMO, Couture lost that fight against KJ and records might fool you, because Ross has fought a lot better competition.
Plus, I don't even wanna get in to that commission thing, that's just tin-hat ridiculousness (no offense).
I think Pearson is a huge favorite for a reason
I've got Couture grinding one out if he can avoid the big shot from Pearson.
Couture by sub if he doesn't get blasted into bolivia.

Ross beat 2 guys..... Siver and Stiropololalas. Those 2 wins destroy any win on Ryan's resume. LOL @ Dana's fake beef with the athletic commission. Can you name a single instance where the PPV draw didn't get the close decision? We'll rack them up. Left column vs right column. Left Column are all the draws winning the close decisions and the right column we'll have all the nobody's that won close decisions. You'll see what I'm talking about then.
But do whatever you want. =)
You're the second guy on this thread to take what I said about the commission out of context. I was just making a comment about what the previous guy said about the scorecards being affected. Instead of attacking what a ridiculous idea that is, I just said that if it were true, it would only help Couture.
Relax

Maybe afterwards but not during a televised fight?! Surely not....
Maybe include him on a small parlay but not straight up

Wanderlei did it during his fight with Stann, so why not?

Nope.
Judging by what I saw in the Noons fight, Pearson should win this pretty decisively.

True, welcome to the 'mid fight fap era'.
Gonna struggle going mainstream with that going on though.
