ryan hall won his fight in Fight Lab

just felt this was worth mentioning, since i couldn't find a thread about it. i saw this live this past saturday night, since a training partner of mine was competing on the same card, and ryan put on a jiu-jitsu clinic on his opponent, though the guy he fought was game till the end.

it ended with ryan locking up a triangle from mount in the third round, rolling to his back and then opening his opponent's head with ruthless elbows and the ref called the fight over.

hopefully a video will be up soon. it was great seeing a sport jiu-jitsu competitor thats often decried for having a BJJ style that "wouldn't work in a real fight" beating someone so decisively (and violently) in MMA.

Great to hear, big fan of his grappling style

Ryan's jiu jitsu is beyond impressive. Phone Post 3.0

Was this Ryan's first fight at 145? I thought his last one was at 155. Either way, I look forward to seeing him in a big show someday. He's amazing on the ground. Phone Post 3.0
