S&C must have equipment

Just got my own gym / dojo. In the process of painting and doing it up. Mat space is the primary importance. We also have a cage wall to section off the mats. I have a tractor tyre and a couple of heavy bags. Was looking at a power rack and some Olympic weights, a couple if kettlebells and some climbing ropes. Anything else you would recommend I get...? The things you have ar needed and i am sure you will add things with time.

I would include these things that many do not have:
reverse hyper go to rougue fitness, reasonably priced.
trap bar,got mine at power systems...pull up bars...med balls, can sometimes get Nike ones that bounce at TJ Max or Marshalls cheap believe it or not...I also like the ones on a rope ,got mine at power systems...check this thing out- similar to a versa climber but more durable and a small fraction of the price steelclmber.com contact brian@steelclimber.com and tell him Warren Donley sent you.

I am getting one and told him I would spread the word.He is also giing $100 of the units right now for a limited time.

Best wishes with the gym!

I'm in wales by the way. Leigh I have a running machine I can just about fit in and pretty easy to put pull up bars / frame with some rings and straps off them. Phone Post

Ace, will post pictures when complete. Phone Post

If I knew how to post pics I would show my home gym lol. Also have 20 x 20 Dollumer matted area that will be expanded to 30 x 20 out back by the pool.

You could get a prowler, sledge for the tire, some sand bags, trx/jungle gym, Rings, and jump ropes.

How about some benches too? Good for dips, Bulgarian Split Squat etc. I think they're invaluable!

 My Suggestions:

5-way neck machine

1.TRAP BAR
2. Place to do Chins / Dips
3. Chin / Dip belt (to add weight)
3. Adjustable Bench (just in case)
4. Jump Ropes

Optional:
5. Steel Climber / Versa-Climber
6. Sand-Bags
7. Heavy Duty Resistance bands (Woody bands)
8. Adjustable Dumbbells such as Power Blocks or select-tech
9. Air-Dyne
10. Concept 2

1. Great Sin City reference.

2. No one has Kettlebells? Phone Post

Get a Kettlebell, a Lifeline Jungle Gym and a Lifeline Powerwheel. Basically that´s all you need.

If you want more get a rope and a tire /sledgehammer and a second Kettlebell and you are ready to go.....

Take care
