Sakara is a bad mofo! But, not "old Belfort" bad.
It's funny, watching his hands, I thought about Vitor too...maybe speed wise, but not sure about power wise. He definately looked to have good to great standup. I'd LOVE to see him in there with someone a little more skilled. He looks to be really good.
How are family jewels though? No updates or anything regarding him has been put out there as yet. Also, did they ever really mention exactly what the outcome of that fight was? It seemed to be left up in the air with no definate result announced (that I heard anyway).
I really like alessio's style
he looked small. Not sure he he will match up with larger/taller fighters. Should be interesting to see, good addition and a nice suprise
I hope Alessio was not seriously damaged by that crap ... it'd be too bad because he didn't lose one second of that fight, yet had it called a NC (wtf?) ... Imagine being told you could never father any kids (or any more kids, if that's the case???..lol) after completely dominating a guy so soundly then having the NJSAC call it a NC, doh!
Sakara has a ton of potential. I'd love to see him slug it out with someone like Forrest or Bonnar. I hope his injury was nothing serious, but he did look like he was in agony.

I hope to see him in there against better talent in the future. Looks like he has good potential for some standup wars...
Sakara is not small, he's around 5'11", maybe 6' and used to fight at heavyweight (where he faced Assuerio Silva and did very well in that fight, actually). I think he'd beat Griffen standing, IMO Forrest would need to take that fight down to have a shot at winning. Same thing with Bonnar, he'd win standing.
I'd actually like to see him face Irvin at some point in the near future .. they both throw leather like crazy now, and it'd be good until one of them got KO'd (probably Irvin, as I think Sakara's hands are a level up at this point).
