Here you go

Thanks Mit

are you serious??

Looks like basic Judo.

hey Martin thanks for the info n alll ...ahahha ... i have been stoked to get this combo set for about a weeek since i stumbled on it by accident... reallly wanna learn catch the art itself along with my BJJ man :) for 50 bux it think its a damn steal!!

There's a lot of great stuff on there Supersaiyan! Not so much an introduction to the styles, some of it is pretty advanced but great to work into your game.

I threw the clip from the club instead of a TTT.
That club opened in april, and we only started to work on throws in july cos some of the guys had mma fights, we didn't work stuff they couldn't realisticaly pull off in such a short time. Its just a clip from classes, no claims made.

And throwing people is throwing people;
Sambo comes from Judo and Catch(ask Sambosteve's coach). Read of some Judo master(forgets name) who said freestyle wrestling is pretty much no-jacket Judo...
Freestyle wrestling is Catch without subs.
Catch is oold, but keeps evolving, influenced by judo in early 20th century, by bjj today. Adapt.
Style is just that: style.
Working hard, respect and sportmanship.
Ye know
Cheers

You have "throwing around catch wrestling sambo style.
I understand you train under kris iatskevich, but where did you get the sambo training?
just curious.

"Sambo comes from Judo and Catch"

Uhm not to be a nit picker but Sambo comes from wrestling styles indigenous to Russia and Judo..I believe the Ochepkov Style of Sambo is more heavily rooted in Judo than the others. This is recolections from the extensive Scott Sonnen artical from the early 00s.

Catch comes from the UK I believe.

Mit,
your absolutely right about Sambo coming from indigenous styles within former Soviet Union. Never heard of Catch being a foundation of Sambo.
