Kris Catch as Catch Can. What happened to Kevin Secours and Eugene Shewchuk??
I thought they where part of it?
A Sambo seminar in Montreal, and Kevin and Eugene who are from Montreal not part of it?

For the longest time we had enough people to cover everything, but they slowly disapeared.

Next time it will not be in the summer where there is tons of other events, and everyone is off on holidays.

Basically we could not pay everyone, and being in Montreal... I can go train with Kevin and Eugene anytime!

Right now we're a small number, not a financial success really...
But the training will only be better, more personnal
Which is the point of this!

Are you coming?

" I can go train with Kevin Secours and Eugene Shewchuk anytime!" So this event was for your personal training?
Not everyone has that chance. I was looking for to those 2. Perhaps next time.

Ouch!
I wanted to see Steve's teaching, as well as Kris. And we thought doing a sambo seminar in Montreal we should have Kevin and Eugene be part of it, only natural.
But the response hasn't been great, so we had to scale down, keeping the two that come from afar.
So yes, in a way, its for my personal training, as well as for anybody that comes along on the mats.

Sorry it didn't turn out like you wanted

Just a question about about Kris. I read his bio and it says he's a black belt in SAW. He trained in Japan? That would be interesting to hear about his training there!

Kris got that belt from Mike Martelle canadian rep for SAW.
And believe me, SAW is far from the most interesting you'll get from Kris.

Its tomorrow, there are still afew spots left.

Great Seminar! The knowledge showned and shared was amazing. The open clinic where Kris and Steve answered questions by comparing/adding approaches, well you'll see. We'll have a highlight clip soon. And a Sambo/Catch DVD in the early fall. Thanks to Steve and Kris, And to everyone who came. And to Kevin Secours of Montreal Systema for letting us use his club for this.
