Sample of Jackson's "Main" Guys Last Outings

By my accounts this is what the "main" Jackson guys have done over the last several months.

UFC 110
Stevenson gets choked out
Jardine gets KO'd
UFC 109
Marquardt gets shut out
Stann loses via dec
Guillard edges Torres
UFC 108
Rashad survives against Silva
Ludwig gets subbed
UFC 107
Guida get subbed
TUF HW Finale
Schaub gets KO'd
Jones looked very good before getting DQ'd
McSweeney TKO'd Schoonover
Wren loses via dec
Stann wins via dec
UFC 105
Riley TKO'd
UFC 104
Stevenson wins via choke
UFC 103
Marshall wins via dec
WEC 47
Garcia draws, but would have lost on points minus the deduction
WEC 45
Cowboy won via hail mary choke
WEC 44
Garcia loses via dec
WEC 43
Cerrone loses exciting dec
Page win via choke

It's very possible I missed some results from the sample, but this was meant to be purely observational. IMO, the guys at Jackson's, collectively, are very streaky. One moment they are on top of the world, and the next they are left asking themselves what happened? GSP is in a world of his own, but should there be some cause for concern?

Nope. I made a thread like this a few years ago after they had a string of losses. A few months later GSP was champ, Rashad was champ, Jardine had beaten Chuck etc...

They'll be back. Hopefully in a few weeks you can say "UFC 111 GSP wins, Carwin wins."

The post was not intended to illustrate Jackson's is a bad camp, but to show how streaky the guys can be. Generally speaking, it appears they are in the midst of a bit of a down turn. Could something like this affect overall morale of the gym?

Welcome to MMA.

There is one undefeated champion in the UFC, and maybe not for long.

Rashad survives against Silva OR
After being totally dominated for 12 minutes of fighting Silva lands his most deadly weapon on Rashad's head but it's not enough...he then follows up with a flurry of fists on Rashad but can't put him down and is tired our after 30 seconds and stands back incredulous. Rashad regains composure and momentum and goes on to take the unanimous decision.

PO-TAY-TOE, PO-TAH-TOE

^BJ undefeated since his permanent move to LW.

he was talking about machida......

and GSP is more tri-star then jacksons.

In mma, 50% of the people who ever compete, lose. No big deal..The important part is ya show up and put on a good show..

fuck, I'm an idiot this morning. thanks for correcting.

Every great team ebbs and flows.

Nate didn't train with Jackson for Sonnen did he?

Also you are talking about three schools in total, Grudge Training Center, Jackson's MMA, and Tri Star. The other way to look at it is they have a ton of the elite talent.

Not a huge deal or anything, but Stevenson wasn't choked out at UFC 110. He lost by decision. He beat Spencer Fisher at UFC 104 with elbows, not a choke, and his performance in that fight was pretty good.

I think the win/loss streaks have as much or more to do with the fighters as it does with the camp that they might happen to be training at. There's so many talented fighters training at Jackson's, either part-time or full-time, and they're generally fighting elite opposition each time they're in the ring/cage.

Good one. Team Jackson was on Rape Mode last night...

if you dont use all their fights, then your sample is worthless
