San Da Video - Pope & Duffin

I located this a year ago and really enjoyed it. Two great fighters with skills.

Very cool clip! It was the first time I've watched a San Shou fight, so it was surprising to me how many throws there were. Coming from a muay thai background, I keep thinking of knees and elbows when in the clinch. It was also interesting to see the sidekick being used so often. I use it too, but it's not used much in muay thai.

I would love to compete in this sport in the future!

Lautaro

I get no video on that page using either mozilla or explorer.

Actually that is a San Shou match not San da. They aren't kneeing and they are on the platform.

Corrected, Brad. Thanks.

Scott - Do you see a broken link? How fast is your connection?

Try going here instead if you are having a hard time. Save it to your computer and open it with windows media player.

I just see the words SAN DA! and a place where an image is supposed to be. No link or anything.

I'll try Brad's...

Brad's worked for me in about 5 seconds. Thanks, man. BTW, I have a cable connection.

no problem

Very cool, thanks alot!

cool clip. The ref of that exhibition match is my friend and former san shou trainer Gary Utterback. both of us were taught by Mike Barry (who recently moved back to his home state of Ohio! :-D)
