Lol BJ will never lose.....U guys are just to much man...lol
The UFC should just retire the 155lbs division entirely according to Penn Nutslammers...hell he is God and cannot lose!!!!
LOl...Bwahahahahah!!!!
lol @ you remarking about "penn nutslammers"
your BJ threads are getting a little old.
if you'd stop making these doomsayer threads nobody would be saying shit in the first place.
do I need to bump all 14 of the recent ones to illustrate?
if they're nutslammers, what are you? a sociopath?
you talk about him losing more than anybody else talks about him winning.
time to find a new crusade.
lol @ you editing your "serra would give him hell!" thread once you realized they had already fought.
so you weren't impressed by Penn/Florian but you WERE impressed by Diego's opening 20 second domination of Guida followed by 14:40 of being taken down and out-grappled constantly and completely stalemated on the ground and even outboxed in the 3rd with one nice headkick thrown in there somewhere and a split decision?
a welterweight comes down and goes to decision twice with both lightweights he fights, once with the guy BJ and Kenny both roasted, then a split with Guida meanwhile BJ has either ko'd or subbed everybody at LW for the past two years while also moving up to WW to challenge GSP. and Kenny had quite an impressive run himself before BJ.
but somehow Diego and his "solide jits" is the impressive specimen who's gonna "push the pace"...fascinating stuff.
if BJ beats Diego, you'll be right here 20 minutes later starting the next thread explaining how Frankie Edgar or Gray Maynard or whoever will have his number.
Diego is a beast, but I don't see anyone beating Penn at 155 as long as Penn's heart is in it.
Diego has not looked his best at lighweight. He used to be a ferocious g n pnd and he has not looked that way since he changed camps. Sure his boxing is better but is nothing Pen has not seen.
Heck Guida took him down at will in the lighter weight division. Sanchez' BJJ had nothing for him, what could make anyone think that he can do something to Pen on the ground? Yeah he hung on with Marcelo a while back. But that was Sanchez the wrestler not the gracie jiu jitsu fighter we have now.
The only thing Sanchez is got going for him is his stamina, endurance and durability in competition. BJ will school him and this will be the first time we see the prodigy go the distance.
I dont know if Sanchez can. Id like to see Edgar eventually get a shot.
BJ's boxing might be the difference if i were a betting man.
I'm a huge Florian fan as well. I thought he would do very well against B.J. But as long as he stays at 155, the UFC has nobody that is gonna beat him in the immediate future. Dirty Sanchez is no exception.
Imua BJ...kick his ass....and jetster, stfu.....you donkey...
BJ would be the favorite and should be the favorite vs ANY LW in the world - Sanchez in my eyes is a step ahead of Ken Flo but that still won't get it done vs BJ Penn at LW.
Jetster, I see you missed my challenge when you made your last comments so I will ask again, for a simple yes or no. I have Penn, you have Sanchez, loser buys the winner a pro membership?
bj was more impressive vs florian than diego was vs guida
I Get Finished in Fights - Diego was more impressive against Florian than BJ was against Florian.
Not really, Diego fought a newborn infant in the sport back then. Kenny was a Noob and was fighting TWO weight classes up at the time.
Whereas BJ fought a much more polished Kenny and arguably the most improved fighter in the world and STILL broke Kenny down with every striking exchange, nullified EVERY takedown attempt then quickly an emphatically took Kenny down and promptly submitted him. You stand corrected sir!
IM 100 times more excited for the Diego fight than I was the KenFlo fight.
I never understood how anyone thought he had a chance against BJ.
Diego will lose but it will be a super fight. BJ hasn't been in a fast paced fight since the Sherk bout.
I think GSP was more methodical than fast paced.
Diego needs to YES YES YES his way back down to Jackson's. He's gotta be kicking himself in the ass every day for leaving. Since he left because of GSP, why doesn't he just go back since he's in a new weight class? It's either that or he's lost the blessing of the thunder gods. I was really looking forward to him at 155 but haven't been impressed.
