I have a friend who works for the promo company. I got tickets for a private screening last night in Toronto.
Obviously, it is NOT as good as part 1. That being said, there are some pretty fucking funny parts where I laughed just as hard as I did while watching part 1 for the first time.
There are a lot of dumb, rehashed gags that were pointless, but man... there are these two flashback scenes that are fucking gold... and a few other scenes that are so over the top funny. I don't remember hearing a theatre laugh together so loudly since I saw Old School or Wedding Crashers.
Non-frat version: if you temper your expectations, you'll enjoy it. If you go into it expecting it to be better than part 1, you'll be disappointed.

From the clips I saw the movie seemed more rated R restricted cotnt. I preferred the first one with cleaner better comedy . Seems like whenever writers can't come up with anything funny it has to devolve.

this, ive watched 3 different trailers and there isnt a single funny moment in any of them..the bit where they are talking to each on the phone and they are in the same room!?!?!ugghh that was awful, the bug on the windshield etc etc
