Dynamic Martial Athletics
We worked rear mount for 3 hours! Maintaining position, a LOT of lapel choke variations, harness, and escapes.
I havn't see Luis yet, but I know he's here.
I found myself over in the corner snapping pics of Jonathan and Tom drilling back mount. I figure the next time I get Oberhues back I'll flash one of these photos in front of his eyes, he'll get confused, and I'll get my chance. I had the honor of getting some free roll time with JW for the first time last night.

DVD shooting has been amazing. We just ran a 12 hour non stop
shooting marathon again yesterday and we were actually still going
over stuff as we were closing up at midnight. There will be sooooo
much material on these sets and taught from so many perspectives
and through several coaches from stand up, clinch and ground
applications that I can already tell that this set will rival the ground
breaking concepts and approach of the previous two sets.
Every aspect thus far has been worked from a sport grappling, mma
and self-defense perspective in a manner where, as always, the
delivery system clearly remains the same but the tactics evolve and
adapt as necessary.
We are shooting with Adam and Rodney today and working the clinch
and strikes from an attached in close quarter perspective.
I will be supplementing each of their contributions with jacketed
options so everyone will get to see how to work from a cloth or no
cloth perspective. You will get to see what happens when Adam and
Rodney get a hold of your clothing and work in their material from a
place you can't run or detach from. It's going to be awesome!
Later today we are taking all of this fluid and dynamic material outside
in street clothing and adding the dirt. Anyone having any doubts as to
what an mma delivery system can do with the freedom of foul tactics
will surely discover a new found knowing of what damage can be
delivered when a trained and complete martial athlete is provoked to
protect their well being and healthy perspective on life and living.
Anyway....have to get ready as Matt should be on his way already.
