Schaub/Cyborg press conference vid

Schaub claims to have "shut his game down bro"

http://www.mmafighting.com/2013/6/10/4413592/brendan-schaub-frustrated-cyborg-at-odds-over-metamoris-2-fight

"Ive never ran from anyone in my life" - Brenden S

"Brenden is less seasoned in jiu jitsu"  - Ralek.  Exactly why he had NO business in this event.

The stupid "I didnt do it" look on Schaubs face during that conference made me want to punch my computer.  What a tool.  No regard and no respect for the grappling purists (by the way, him saying people in the stands at metamoris are largely without knowledge of grappling is bullshit) who paid money to see competitors trade techniques.  We PAID MONEY not to see if you could pass some stupid personal challenge (his claim, shutting cyborg down).  We paid to be entertained by masters.  Plain and simple.

Stop talking about Mitrione

stop talking about who you shut down in the UFC.  No one here cares about that shit.  Asshole.

Didn't want to take the top position he was being GIVEN, didn't want to engage on feet, damn sure didn't want to pull guard... Why did he sign up for the match????

Schaub is a brilliant innovator at the cutting edge of absolute boredom, combining stalling BJJ and point fighting, mind blown.

I really don't understand Schaub on this one.

You took the match. What's the point of just stalling and running around? You're going to lose either way, so why not at least try? See what you can do and how long you can hold this guy off when you actually engage.

Sure you'll get subbed, but so did Aoki. Nobody cares.

My 175 lb blue belt ass can "shut down" Abreu's game too by running around the mat and never getting close to him, but what does that prove to me or anybody else? That I can effectively scamper out of reach? So what? Why would I make that my "goal" in coming to a tournament like this?

Sure he's got a fight coming up, so he probably shouldn't have been there at all, but he was and that's that. All he had to do was make sure he tapped quickly if (when) he got caught, and he would've been fine.

Heck, I'll grapple Abreu right now. I'd love to. It's awesome to experience top guys' BJJ games, even when they bulldoze you. Phone Post 3.0

And this guy is in the UFC? Phone Post 3.0

Embarrasment. Phone Post 3.0

What an absolute farce.

If only cyborg was more fluent and confident in English to be able to give Schaub a harsher blasting at the press conference.

Or maybe if the promoter had more balls to confront Schaub.

"Wait, wait. You got some dandruff right there, let me get that."

That head pushing shit is bullshit and should be an immediate DQ.
