Schiff spoke with WB before complaint was filed!

A spokesman for House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., acknowledged Wednesday that the whistleblower alleging misconduct in the White House had reached out to Schiff's panel before filing a complaint -- prompting President Trump to accuse Schiff of helping write the document in an extraordinary press conference at the White House.

"I think it's a scandal that he knew before," Trump said. "I'd go a step further. I'd say he probably helped write it. ... That's a big story. He knew long before, and he helped write it too. It's a scam."

Referring to Schiff as "Shifty Schiff," Trump characterized Democrats' impeachment inquiry as a "fraudulent crime on the American people."

Trump also called Joe and Hunter Biden "stone-cold crooked," citing Hunter Biden's lucrative business dealings in Ukraine while his father was vice president. Trump went on to threaten litigation concerning what he called false accusations by "the fake news media" and "in many cases, the corrupt media."

The whirlwind day in Washington kicked into gear when The New York Times reported earlier Wednesday that Schiff "learned about the outlines" of the whistleblower's complaint "days before" it was filed.

Nothing from the killer whale/sick dolphin dude, yet?

Has anyone actually read the original Times article (the one on which the Fox article is based)?

If so please point out where the reporting indicates Schiff had any input including "writing" the complaint?

I'll help you: It doesn't.

It does state that the Whistleblower's reaching out to Schiff was done so he/she could seek guidance on how to proceed - an entirely understanable move since Schiff heads the committe that would be investigating.

The reporting further indicates Schiff advised the WB on the next steps in the process and the WB did just that and filed the complaint. Nothing more.

Unless new reporting emerges that Schiff had any input on the complaint itself, Trump and his cultists are just grasping at straws. If it turns out Schiff did influence the complaint in any way, then by all means, call it a hoax/setup/conspiracy. Until then, nothing to see here.

These guys don't want evidence. They run to whatever conspiracy works right now, and abandon it for a new one when their story falls apart.

Both sides do it and it's sad neither of you acknowledge it.

Wish you fags could get your own sub forum one day and take this dumb shit somewhere else.

Did you read it? The allegations are problematic to say the least. The "whistleblower" essentially shopped the concerns around to various people. The story even says the "whistleblower" got nervous with the scrutiny his story was receiving. People in the intelligence community and in the White House etc were poking holes in the story, so he went to Schiff lol. Then, it says right in the story, that the Aide told Schiff parts of the complaint, before it was filed. They say they never saw it, but if he's already been told what the story and concerns are, that's problematic. They say, we just advised them to get a lawyer etc. So there's actually no way of knowing, without an investigation what Schiff and his people actually did or didn't do with regards to the "whistleblower". I mean, how he presented the transcript in the hearing just the other day, is not a good look considering it makes it hard to take his account as truth lol.

The "writing the complaint" is something that is coming from lawyers and others who have been reviewing it.

The formatting and language of the complaint is consistent with the way a trained lawyer would compose it, niot a CIA analyst.

Two different skill sets.

Those who know (not me) spotted it immediately, but now that Schiff was involved PRIOR to the release of the complaint the questions is even more pronounced.

That and the changing of the ICIG forms during the whole process.

The incorrect statements of the complaint.

A lot appears to be off about the whole thing.

LOL

Hey remember just yesterday when the shareblue puppets on this board were saying Schiff knew this, not because he was in contact and/or working with this supposed whistleblower, but if was because he was informed prior to Congress being informed though some technical mumbo jumbo?

OOOPSIES

Schiff should be investigated.

And LOL @ screenshat

All this focus on the beginning of the complaint detracts from the substance of the complaint: That president Trump pressured the Ukrainian president to investigate Trump's political rival.

That's the only thing that really matters.

The Trump worshippers are doing their best to obfuscate this fact
