How come he never fought in pride? I'm young so Don't know much about older MMA 
A few reasons, but mostly because he fought for UFC. While Chuck and Vitor both fought in PRIDE as UFC lhws, Tito was champ and didn't want to take the risk of losing under a different environment. Chuck would fight anyone anywhere under any rules and Vitor needed the fights and was flexible on rules.
Because they didn't allow elbows on the ground and that was Tito's primary weapon.

Dana did not allow Tito to fight in pride , he was the UFC poster boy and champion. So Dana put Chuck in to represent the UFC , the risk was low for them. He was not the champ at the time and Dana thought chuck could win. If he had it would have made the UFC look great because their contender beat prides best. Chuck then got blasted by Rampage in the second round while Dana complained chuck is not following the game plan on the air with Bas at the event. Vitor left the UFC during his stint in pride for more money
