Was that training footage with Adam Singer in the video?
Yes... What you didn't see was Adam spracking Scott upside the head... and Forrest spracking Scott upside the head... and Rory Singer and Scott grappling....LOL!!!!
The point of the HL was to showcase Scott so you don't see him getting tooled out, only him doing the tooling...
It's very similar in my own HL clip... in one of the clips I get KTFOed right after I put an armbar on the dude... but that part gets strategically omitted!!!! LOL!!!!!
Their is a lot of skill in video editing!!!!!

Cam, Actually that kind of pisses me off. I do not think you should use footage of private traiinng as HL footage. I spar a bunch of rounds with a guy that came to work out and get some coaching from me and the guy lands a good jab and I end up on a HL reel. Since I like Scott a lot I will not and did not talk about the training session. However this is wrong. Private training should stay private.

I asked if that was Adam for precisely the reason Adam just said he was pissed off about. I think it is disrespectful and defeats the whole purpose of training to put training footage with someone else on a highlight reel.
Whether it is putting a HL reel of a select few moments of a training session online, or a certain former moderator here going out of his way to mention someone getting kicked in the head on several seperate threads while not choosing to talk about what happened before, they are both lame and defeat the whole purpose of people putting themselves in bad situations to help one another get better. There are so many variables involved in sparring/training that all stuff like this does is make it a lot harder for people to work together and train.
Private training should stay private and not be posted in public over the internet.

Hilites videos work in that strange way... someone always has to be the windshield and someone will be the bug. It's part of this business we are in. If everyone had fragile egos then there would never be any hilite videos posted anywhere. I get hit all the time training and I have never let it bother me one bit as I know I am improving myself and that it's a part of the game. I put myself in bad situations all the time to help my students and training partners get better every day. There is film of it out there everywhere. I could care less. I have enough merits that I can stand upon that I don't let silly things like that knock me down. As a trainer, I don't let that define me. It's sad that you have encountered so many people like that in the business and I feel really bad for those kinds of people because they are hiding behind their egos and will never improve themselves. I do not feel Adam is one of those people as he is a great coach and I know he goes out of his way to improve himself and his fighters, and therefore am really puzzled by his response...

I sincerely apologize. I had no idea that the camera was hidden and I thought you knew that the specific reason that the camera was there was so Scott could get some footage for his hilite that he was preparing to send in with the TUF application, in which they specifically asked for training footage. That was the whole reason he was filming that day... so he could get some training footage for a hilite reel. I also had no idea it was a private session as there were many other people in the room.
As soon as we get the footage of 2 of Scott's fights that we are missing I am going to update the vid and I will take out that training footage of you and Scott. For the time being I have pulled it from the site, also.

I have no issue with the tape goign to TUF. It was not made clear to us that the footage was being used for anything other than Scott to review. If there was any chance of it ending up for another reason I would have asked him not to tape (we can not have Forrest in someones HL reel). Shoot, if I knew he was making a HL reel we could have "planned" some footage. I was just a little shocked to see training footage in a HL reel. I consider (as I know you do) all "training" to be closed door and private. Especially when an "outside" fighter comes in. I appreciate you taking care of this. Thanks
