Hey guys maybe this is the wrong forum but I was wondering if anyone here is doing any private security work (and I'm not talking about working at a mall) or bodyguard work. If so what routes did you take to start in the field and how is the pay and how is it overall? Thanks alot

I have been out of that sort of thing for a long time
now and was sort of hoping that someone with more
recent experience would answer your question. It seems
to be a matter of knowing someone who trusts you
either by reputation (i.e. Ranger, Marine, S.F., SEAL,
LEO etc.) or by having seen you perform needed skills
under duress. This is not something you want to
filmflam your way into, even the best sometimes wind
up in jail in a forgotten country or 6' under the
dirt. Pay ranges from 6 figures a year to nothing,
most likely is about $50-$100 for a single nights
work. You are better off getting an education or a
good trade and taking up bungee jumping for thrills.
