Semmy vs Musashi a potential WORK?

Will be watching his K-1 Bout in Vegas with Semmy vs Musashi eyes wide open.  I've seen some pretty strange things in the past few years with MMA betting, but this morning pretty much takes the cake.  Its going to be interesting to see how this ends.  I am shocked that people would take the risk of this in Vegas of all places. Then again, Sapp vs Kimo was pathetic.

What happened this morning?

Did someone put down a large amount on Musashi?

Betting on K-1 in the first place is stupid.

But I'm also interested in what happened this morning... Don't leave us hanging like that, Joey!

i dont see how anyone can take k1 bets after kimo/sapp

and joeys goofing with you

did you take the line down? I don't see it at pinny

*edit- i found it at sportsbook.com. So what are you saying, there's heavy money coming in on Mushashi??

Woke up to 14k on Musashi placed within about 30 minute time frame in the morning. 6am PST.  Was odd indeed.

Bad Bet imo.

ttt

I'm amazed you can bet on K-1. I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall in some of the exchances between management and their 'sponsors'.

you gotta quit jumping to conclusions based on someone betting big, some ppl got coin to piss down the toilet

I see alotta strange things happen in the MMA and Boxing betting world on a regular basis.  This was one spot where it didnt happen on post........like the Yves UFC bout.

This and Yves were the only times I made public mention of  an odd  money trail.  The Hominick  money was bet at the counter closer to bout start time.  They bet the favorite offshore, so it didnt matter to me if they bet 100k on Hominick in Vegas.  I just found it odd and shared it with the forum. I would think the average MMA fan would want to be aware of things like this before a bout starts so they can watch the bout objectively instead of playing results.

Whoa, Odessa, are you saying someone put 100K down on Mark? That match is both saddening and disheartening for me, so that's interesting.

No. I said  wouldnt care if they 100k on Mark. (80k more than they did at post) I Do know someone placed 5 x 4k wagers on Hominick in Vegas. But tahst oldnews.  Odds were -600 and closed around -360.  Average price was about 5-1, so someone walked away with 100k on him. This is pretty old news.

News to me.. Very Interesting to say the least.

Musashi lost. So either #1 it was not a work and someone took a insanely big gamble, or #2 Semmy changed his mind and is in big trouble right now.
Personaly I would think #1
