I am very happy and proud to announce that Sheila Bird just received her black belt from Roy Harris. Sheila is the first woman to receive her black belt in Canada, and I'm thrilled to have been a part of history.
She's an inspiration to women all over Canada... and across the world, too. Congrats, gal. You kicked ass. :)

From yesterday's Roy Harris seminar at BDB. In addition to Sheila getting her black belt and Nick and Brad getting their brown belts on Friday night, nine guys got their blue belts Saturday morning, too!
