sherk can take him down, but i don't think he'll do any damage to him on the ground and jake can sneak a sub in there.

You can't judge Sherk badly with his last fight vs GSP. GSP is on a roll, I think he can beat anyone right now except Hughes.

Plus Sherk has either got to fight light weight or gain 10-15 more pounds. Weight cutting is hitting a new level of technique, and it is not an option not to cut 10+ pounds at least at the UFC level.
