So now that EXC is gone, what does everyone think the chances are of Jake heading to the UFC? I mean, this is really where he belongs, and where he'll get the fights he's looking for. Fights with GSP, Diego, Fitch, maybe Penn, all sound like intriguing match ups. You think he's a lock for the UFC?

Shields belongs in the UFC. I would bet money that he'll get signed sooner than later.
GSP destroys Shields, hate to say it, I love all of Cesar's guys, but GSP is a different breed of fighter.

I think GSP is on a different level than everyone. I think we can all pretty much agree on that. I'm not sure how Jake will do against the top guys in the UFC, but I think he will surprise some people. Jake can hang with anyone in the World on the ground and anyone he can out wrestle is in a lot of trouble. Personally, I'd love to see him fight Diego or Karo. I think it would show us where he really stands in the WW division.

There are a lot of good fights for Shields. I'd love to see him vs any of the top guys in the UFC Kos, Alves, Fitch, Sanchez, GSP or Karo would all be great fights.
He would be a good shake up in the 170 division, they definitely should grab him.
Give him a couple tune up fights to see how he does in the big show.
Hell, throw someone like Hughes at him. Sheilds wouldnt fair well against the top 5 (maybe even 10) but to "waste" a fight on Kos's or Diego's contract is silly.
I actually wouldnt put it past White to give Seth another one fight shot to build someone else up..rubbing salt in the wound if he loses.
Everybody will figure out how 1 dimensional Shields is if he goes to the UFC. Crappy standup, decent BJJ at best. To be a black belt, his transitions didn't flow at all!
