I just bought a shock dr, boiled it, fit it in my mouth, but it isn't comfortable at all. It feels like my molars are interfering with the mouth piece in the back. I tried re-boiling and refitting, but it doesn't seem to conform to my teeth at all.
I've tried the boil and bite cheap mouthpieces in the past and have had no problems fitting them, but this shock dr. is a problem. any advice?
my advice would be to suck up the $20 loss (I'm guessing you paid $20 for it, as I did) on the Power Ultra, keep it as a back up, and go back and buy the $10 Gel-max.
I couldn't decide on which one to buy, so I bought both the same day, and the Gel-max is by far the most comfortable mouth piece I've ever worn. The Ultra is a bit too hard, and I didn't find it at all comfortable. No matter how long I boiled it for, it didn't seem to get soft enough to get a good fit.
Like I said, go buy the gel-max, and thank me later.
that is exactly it rickmassmma. I bought the power ultra because it
was suppose to be the best of their line. well, i might go back and get
the gel max now. thanks.
